Emsisoft Anti-malware test results

We tested this software for about 30 days. The computer we used had an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and HDD. The operating system is Windows 10, 64 bit.

The quick scan was surprisingly fast. It was completed under a minute. Although it was fast, it didn’t find any threats, while other anti-malware products found a few infected files. After completing the full scan[2], there were a few threats found. The information bar shows the name of the malware, the location, and the risk level. You can select to quarantine[3] or to delete the infected file or application.

The full scan was completed in under 20 minutes – this is a very good result compared to other similar antimalware software. The quarantine function is very handy for keeping harmful files in the safe place if you still haven't decided whether you want to delete or keep them.
